We now offer salt water fishing packages for our guest. No worries about finding the “right” charter while you are in town. With our local knowledge we have created the perfect fishing trips depending on the time of the year you are visiting us.
Salmon Fishing Valdez Alaska
Valdez and Prince William Sound boasts one of the strongest Silver Salmon runs in the state. Salmon fishing in Valdez Alaska during the end of July and the start of August saltwater charters for Silvers consistently produce limits of dime bright ocean-fresh fish that are hard to beat by any standards. This is a great family friendly trip in an amazing setting of the rugged glacier capped Chugach Mountains as the background. Most of the salmon fishing in Valdez Alaska is done in protected bays and makes for very calm seas and a great fishing experience.
Halibut, Ling Cod & Rock Fish
Our day trips for halibut are an angler’s dream and on many angler’s bucket list when visiting Alaska. Valdez halibut fishing does not only have the possibility of hooking into world-class halibut, but also huge trophy ling cod and rock fish.
Valdez has been known for large halibut, with derby winners tipping the scales at almost 300 lbs each year. Not everyone will catch the derby winner, with the average fish are 25 pounds, but a large portion are 50 pounds and over. It is not uncommon to come home with multiple fish tipping the scales at 100 pounds. Our day trips are a full day adventure, leaving at 6:00 am and returning at 6:00 pm.

2 Days, 3 nights – Deep Sea Fishing
Enjoy Staying at Robe Lake Lodge and getting two days of deep sea fishing in with our recommenced charters. You can expect to have a great time trying to reel in the big ones during this time of the year. Halibut and rock fish trips start up end of May and run all summer. You can keep ling cod also starting July 1.
Price - $2,500 for two people.
August Packages – Silvers & Deep Sea
4 days, 5 nights – Silver Salmon, Halibut, Ling cod & Rock fish
Want the ultimate fishing adventure? Come to Valdez in August and enjoy all the great fishing the city has to offer. Enjoy fishing two days out in the deep sea for Halibut, Ling cod & Rock fish. And then have two days of salmon fishing on top if it. We split up the deep sea days with the salmon fishing days.
Price - $4,200 for two people.
