If living in Alaska’s wild interior has always been a dream then our Bush camp is for you.  Accessible by air or boat in the summer and air or snowmachine in the winter “Ma and Pa’s” bush camp is the perfect spot to see what bush living is all about.  Not into “roughing it?” no worriers.  Camp Tyone is set up for the most comfortable bush experience out there.  From the indoor plumbing, to the fully generator powered camp.

There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds.  There is also a full kitchen with a full size oven and refrigerator, and bath with indoor shower.  As you would imagine there is an outhouse, but we must say one of the nicest you’ll find anywhere out here.  For winter visitors there is an oil drip and wood stove for heat.

Enjoy fishing right off shore, or take the boat out to explore the various connecting lakes.  Take a hike up the ridge and over to our hidden fishing pond.  In winter snowmachine up the Tyone river to explore the frozen taiga.  If hanging out and reading a good book is more you style, then hang out on the deck and spend some time soaking in some of that 24 hours of summer daylight.

You can also just enjoy the silence and keep an eye open for the migrating caribou herd, the Nelchina herd’s migration goes right through the front yard.  Moose, bear, wolves, and eagles are all around you in this remote “heaven”.  Summer time temps can get into the high eighties, low nineties, and winter temps can get down to -40.  Don’t let the temps scare you.  In summer the lake is more then warm enough to swim in and in winter the camp warms up incredibly fast with the wood stove.
